The American Journal of Science has moved all current and future content to www.ajsonline.org. The new site has current content back to 2001 as both fully linkable html and as PDF files. PDF files are available back through 1896. We will continue to add more back content. Special Issues and Special Volumes are available from 1938 through 2001 as PDF files on the site you are presently visiting.

We recommend not using Adobe products as "plug-ins" to your browser: to disable this feature, close your browser and open Acrobat (or Acrobat Reader).
