Presently available software:
1) BinomFit for Windows. This program estimates the
age components or peaks in a mixed FT grain-age distribution. See On Track article for details.
2) Closure, Age2Edot, and RespTime. The Closure program calculates effective closure temperatures and partial retention zones for (U-Th)/He, FT and Ar thermochronometers. Age2Edot and RespTime demonstrate the influence of steady and transient erosion on cooling ages. Updated June 24 , 2007: Fixed a small error in PRZ calculation for He and Ar systems in Closure program..
3) Yale_FT Programs. Zip file containing DOS programs for the analysis of FT data, including calculation of FT ages and exact confidence intervals, zeta calibration, and gaussian or binomial peak fitting. See ReadMe file for more details. Updated: September 15, 2004.
