MORNING SESSION
BREAKOUT GROUPS
The morning will be devoted to small group meetings. The group leaders below are responsible for organizing the meetings. The objectives are to review results, plan future work, and coordinate with other groups. Some time should be devoted to meetings between groups. The group leaders should prepare a short Powerpoint presentation summarizing the meetings.
Groups and leaders:
1) Geodetics, Rick Bennett
2) Geodynamics, Sean Willett
3) Geomorphology, Frank Pazzaglia
4) Thermochronology, Peter Reiners
5) Seismology, Jeff Park (No group at the meeting due to field commitments)
6) Tectonics, Darrel Cowan
0900: Meet in breakout groups
AFTERNOON SESSION
SUMMARY OF BREAKOUT GROUPS, GENERAL DISCUSSION
The afternoon session was be devoted to summary reports from the working groups, and others as needed. Some discussion at the end of the session is needed to address linkages with the Calabrian Arc Project, goals for media outreach, and a plan for the next workshop.
1400: Start summary discussions (presentations are included below where available)
1) Geodetics, Rick Bennett
3) Geomorphology, Frank Pazzaglia
4) Thermochronology, Peter Reiners
